Back in May I planned to take some extra time off for my birthday, but then one of my shift runners turned in notice for that same week, so I couldn't. Now, we're staffed up again and have a good crew going, so I was going to take extra time off for my GF's birthday in a couple weeks. Turns out one of my other shift runners just put in notice, with her last day being 3 days before my GF's bday, so now there's no way I'll be able to get someone ready by then, so I won't be able to take that time off. So damn aggravating.
