Base set 1st edition charizards are no longer selling for ridiculous prices on ebay.

You can gage the whole pokemon market from the prices of the zards. I think the cards will be at their lowest and most opportune time to buy in another year or two. So they will continue to decrease.

Target started putting cards back on the shelves and I always see them practically full.

Before you would have less than two minutes to buy a pack once they stocked them.

Yeah, the bubble actually burst a little after logan paul's fight with mayweather but the prices did not adjust until now. A lot of folks were making bank opening up pokemon cards on twitch and youtube and then reselling the cards in self made booster packs.

I would not be surprised if most of the folks selling those cards would lie about the holo to non holo ratios.

Stores started over stocking them that now the scalpers don't even want to buy all of them anymore and can't afford to do so since the demand isn't as high because of that.

I had a treasure trove of old holographics. I lost them in a state-to-state move. Theyre either in a garbage dump somewhere or buried under a bunch of crap in my parents storage shed.

I never understood why folks loved the charizard art so much but the gyarados was not shown that much love, the gyarados is really cool looking imo it should be worth a lot more money just off of the art alone. Plus, its got a cool gimmick, it starts off from a lame magikarp fish and turns into a cool ass water dragon. Definitely under valued card. I have thought about just stocking up on gyarados's cuz they are pretty cheap and abundant.
