Kloe_Rinz 07/20/21 9:37:52 AM #15:	havent played ff14 yet but it seems like the skill floor is combos while in WoW the skill floor is the ability priorities out of all the PUGs I did in WoW, very few players actually did their ability priorities well. Fluttershy 07/20/21 10:43:13 AM #19:	They're both the exact same game with different skins, with FF14 obviously being the better looking one god damn it i hate that i like your takes. but no. as a tank main in WoW, ffxiv doesn't even come close. there aren't tanking classes. there are no tank mechanics within classes whatsoever. you hit button you get mitigation. maybe you decide to pair it with ffxiv's pale idea of active mitigation (maybe that was their idea?) but that's it. it doesn't let a tank like me survive ridiculous bullshit because i'm good. nascent flash is the best ability out of all of the tank kits and you can only push it so far. like honestly some of my favorite memories from WoW are surviving fights i had no right to. solo skorpyron normal (or heroic?). the other tank just dc'd right at the start and we were doing door strats. i used a strategy you don't see -- blackout combo into ironskin brew, for the stagger pause. usually not a great idea. ask me why it worked here if you care, i feel rambly here. --- https://imgur.com/CnmWjgd <cite>Fluttershy posted [p:956276813] in are WoW fa...
