Think of how much profit McDonald's is getting.

Their meat probably costs them $2 a pound since it's some proprietary processed sub-hamburger meat shit they buy in tons. They're selling 1/4 pound burgers for like $4. So you're paying for 2 pounds of meat but only getting 1/4 pound.
