they made RDR2 with GTAO's drawer money, and did the same thing with it.

not to say that RDR2 wasn't amazing, and that they don't care about single-player campaigns, but it's clear that their priority is the online.

and I understand, since it continues to make them a shitload of money.

and Dan Houser leaving and founding his own new studio makes it pretty apparent that they didnt want their lead writer to lead write anything new when they can just ride Shark Cards forever. Rockstar IS dead. We may eventually get a GTA6, but without Houser and Lazlow and the rest, it wont be GTA.

Also, in the old days we'd also get DLC like The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony, and Undead Nightmare. Now they just throw stuff into multiplayer.

RDR2 was the last hurrah of Rockstar as we knew them.

I mean you have to admit Rockstar today is wildly different from PS2 era Rockstar or even Rockstar from the 360/PS3 era. Thats only natural I suppose but I kinda miss them having variety in what theyre doing.

It will be a much lesser game without the talent when GTA 6 is made. GTA online was a mistake and, it has ruined the series as now Rockstar is lazy as shit and only care about making money off shark cards.
