I didn't watch it much because it was pretty bad but I remember

A plot about Joey's girlfriend beating him and thats funny because it's a girl abusing a guy.

And Phoebe biting a dude on the ass because she thought he was hot, which is sexual assault...

And then there's the total lack of black people or minorities despite being in NYC.

it's kinda fucked when you think about it, it promoted a lot of weird messages

Friends barely had minorities in it because apparently the network didn't want it and some kinda backlash on Joey having a black girlfriend for a few episodes I think or that could just be one of the myths. Still it was the 90s sitcoms were rather fast and loose back then, especially when it came to mocking feminism nd gay bashing.

If you don't want a multicultural cast, why set it there?
