It's a great sci-fi show.

I couldn't get through season 1. I heard it doesn't pick up until s2 but I just couldn't slog through it. Too much going on, and literally none of it was interesting.

I enjoyed it from episode 1 onwards but maybe its just is up my alley. Its been my favorite shows of all time as well (I bought the books recently as well since they wont extend the show for the whole story but havent had time to get into them yet).
