The high humidity one effectively is almost the same temp but will feel muggy as fucking hell.

I'd take the 85 any day over 110 and I lived in Phoenix for 24 years.

Level 0 thinking: 110 is higher so it will feel hotter
Level 1 thinking: humidity makes things feel hotter, so i'll take the 85 with humidity
Level 2 thinking: I dont know which one would feel worse
Level 3 thinking: I'm going to look up data on how people respond to these conditions, and try to deduce from that information

• Tropical air: 60+ C (140 F) short term, 47 C (117 F) long term.
• Saturated air: 48 C (118 F) short term, 35 C (95 F) long term.
• Water: 46 C (115 F) short term, 41C (106 F) long term.

So the highest temperature a human survive at in 100% humidity short term is 118, and 95 long term
and the highest with dry is 248, and 158 long term

dont even need to make a poll to know how much of a blowout it would be

Wait...I've lived many years in Phoenix. Have you ever been in the woods in GA, or in the LA bayou when it's over 90% humidity in the mid 80 or 90s?

If yes,then just wow lol.

I didnt even know that but I didnt have to know. I grew up in Biloxi, MS. 95F w/ 100% humidity was a common day. I moved to Ridgecrest, California which was just a desert for a few years. 110F felt like 80F in Biloxi I swear. I learned that dry heat is dangerous too because you feel fine but can dehydrated on the sneak vs all that humidity

Lower Alabama for 2 years. 85 with 100% is tolerable. If TC said 95 + 100%, I'd take the dry heat. 10 degrees makes a huge difference.

It's also the fact that our sweat system doesn't really function in humid environments. But yeah, it is extremely easy to get dehydrated into dry weather.

The thing I hate the most about dry heat is you hardly sweat, your skin gets dry and cracks. Lotion is a necessity to keep from bleeding at the knuckles (for example).

Humidity sucks, but at least you sweat. Staying hydrated is a little easier, imo.

The 110 with 0 humidity will like dry me out so badly. I'll take the 85 with 100% humidity
