Cleo_II 07/13/21 10:17:13 AM #1:	I will start end of September. Ive made my decision to leave despite my promotion. Jokes on my employer because Ill just be collecting more money until I notify them right before my leave ends. Right now they think Im coming back. Feels good after the whole fiasco a few months back. Its a step back career wise but way more money, much better benefits (free healthcare for my whole family), better 401k match, 100% permanently remote and a company not being run by shitheads. I know a few people there as well who left our company to join them. So Ill have friends off the bat. Ill miss some of my coworkers but I think theyre on the hunt too. I was promoted to an associate manager level and this role Ill be an individual contributor still. But theyre growing so much and it will just take me some time to get back to that level. I had another other good offer but would need to be in the office 3 days a week. I like being with my girl. I dont really plan on putting her in daycare until shes about 2. The market is freaking bonkers for recruiters rn. I had several offers and I wasnt even looking. I have many friends in the industry who got new jobs making 30-50k+ more.
