And the order probably wasnt even wrong, they either forgot to order correctly or want free food. Walmart loses a lot of money too from the same issues

This is so glorious the workers revolution in action we don't want to work any more and there is nothing you can do to stop us 20 dollars an hour minimum for all jobs or we just won't work any more. Covid 19 showed the workers that we don't need to work there is enough money to pay us not to work.

The people that try to get free food are the worst. I worked at mcdonalds for a little while and I saw so many assholes trying to pull little tricks. Like one guy complained that his fries were cold (they weren't), so when we asked him to give us the fries back so we could replace them, he dumped all the fries in his bag and handed us the empty fry container... Manager made us give him new fries anyway.

I 100% agree but this isn't about wages. This about them getting fucked over with short staffing so BK can make more money. No high schooler is going to work stupid hours at BK just because they're too greedy to bring extra help in.

Get paid 15 an hour at Target, 12 an hour at Walmart, 11 an hour at Publix.

Because those three have higher standards (well Target sure as hell does) and not everybody that applies gets them. There's a much lower entry ceiling to get into fast food.

Students can't work more than 20 hours a week anyways.. During school at least.

My little cousin has been working full time at Walmart since the summer began.

Can't say anything about Target or Publix though.

The "customer is always right" mentality means a lot of managers have no balls. A place I worked at always gave away free shit to people like that. "Okay, we'll let it go this time..." Again, and again, and again.

You could literally buy an entire turkey, eat all but half a drumstick, bring that back and claim you didn't like it and get a full refund no questions asked. Certain customers abused the hell out of this, but they're "always right" so...

I worked for BK from 1996-1998. There's three incidents that still make me shake my head in disgust.

1. We had literally just opened and a guy came in to the use the bathroom, then came up to the counter and told the manager that the bathroom needed....attention. She sent me in to check. Someone (don't know if it was the guy or someone from the previous night) had literally smeared their crap all over the stall walls. Guess who had to clean it up....
2. The first week I had started working there, the shift manager came up and claimed my drawer was $20 short. Being new and naive, I signed the write-up. Well, the store manager and the district manager were suspicious of the shift manager and money constantly disappearing during his shifts, they intentionally made the safe over by about $100 for his next shift. The next morning, the morning was gone. He was immediately terminated.
3. Two women came through the drive-thru, saying they had just been to another near-by BK and that that restaurant had gotten their order wrong and wanted us to fix it. The store manager refused. The driver handed me the bag which felt pretty full, and demanded again that we fix it. Again, the store manager refused, saying the customers would have to go back to the other store. The driver then demanded corporate's number, then left. She forgot the bag XD When we opened it, it was full of napkins, some empty fry boxes and two used whopper wrappers.

I don't know what type of person walks into an establishment going "I'm going to smear my feces on the wall instead of using the restroom like an actual human being" but that shit really should result in jail time.
