I felt it was just ok enough for a watch but I don't think I'd ever revisit it. They have other fun ones like the Glorzo ep that I like but there weren't many moments that stood out to me in this. It had the same vibe as the sex dragon episode, just some dumb random concept that they did just to have some dumb plot. Honestly maybe they need it to relieve the pressure off themselves, I think the show has taught me to just let it be for what it is and the good moments will come naturally.

The whole episode could've just been the cold open and that would be enough lol

Im still cracking up from the textbook trebuchet line. Also just realized how ridiculous it is that the sperm have a female leader.

The feminist jokes in this episode about women not getting credit really didnt land. Seems like they were forced into an already overcrowded episode. Loved the president pointing out the trope of female action hero sidekicks only being around so that they can have a girl fight against a female villain during the films climax.

Felt like it could've been straight out of South Park until the end, where they crossed a line I honestly don't think South Park would. And it was hilarious.

Great episode. This was the first episode where rick and morty have an old school adventure together. This was classic and we get to see giant sperm, and just the typical R&M antics.

I think all jokes landed well even the feminist ones since it fit the theme of the episode along with sperm.

I think this season has been pretty good so far. No new classics yet, IMO, but each episode so far has had some good laughs. E2 was probably my favorite so far, but I haven't disliked any of them. The cold open on E4 was great.

I loved ep 1 and 2. Especially episode 1. It's so rewatchable considering each wine trip is a whole new developed narrative with the blue dog world. I think one of my favorite parts in the entire show is when Morty gets beat up, quickly decides to go back in, but in their world it's been several decades and the reaction on Hoovy's son is just so genuine, since you know he's been anticipating this kid coming back his entire life.

Episode 2 for me was the show doing what it does best. So much concentrated character development/exploration intertwined with a crazy scifi concept with literally 0 impact on anything, on purpose. Definitely up there as one of the series best for me.

Episode 3 was pretty cool. It felt like Vindicators but with a lot of development on Morty and his relation with his mom. The moment between Beth and Morty at the end really hit me, because you see that even though Beth might overlook things or not be the best mom on paper, she really does care to be a better mom.

Episode 4 was whatever. Just a nonsense adventure and everyone knows it, even the writers. Sometimes the writers just gotta take a break and do some dumb shit and that's okay with me. Was just okay for an initial watch but that's it.

I'm avoiding S5 until it's finished. I hate the thought of watching 20 mins and then waiting a week for 2 and a half months.

Can't fucking wait to watch it.

I loved the craziness of the fourth episode tbh. I did enjoy some of the jokes too, like The samurai dude turning out to be lame and Rick's "Handjob Solo" retort.
