Like they paid off the captain to sink the ship to eliminate someone on board, then at the last minute he felt remoresful and went down with the ship? Or like, they threatened his family if he didn't go down with it to hide the evidence

Don't forget that the Titanic sent up flares and a passing ship was right nearby on the other side of an ice field. However, they thought the flares were fireworks (IIRC), and the telegraph operator had went to bed by that point, so they just ignored 'em after that.

Anybody remember the Titanic animated movie? Lol. Pretty historically accurate, especially the rapping dog halfway through. I think i remember hearing about it from the Nostalgia Critic's review.

It's pretty much been confirmed it was. Do people honestly believe an iceberg came out of nowhere, or that an unsinkable ship could sink?

Think people, think. Unsinkable means it can't sink. So something was up. Some say an insurance scam, but that's small minded. The real reason was that shaved ice was starting to be popular, so its competitor thought that if an iceberg was seen to sink the unsinkable, it would ruin the product. So jet fuel melted steel beams were put in the ship hull to go off on a timer.

Honestly, if you look at the entire history of the titanic, it reads like a D&D campaign where the GM is desperately trying to get the players to stop fucking around with some background scenery, and finally he goes "Fuck it, boat sinks, start making resist cold rolls."
