If I had a pet tiger, I would raise it very well and no one would ever lose even just one arm. They could give it pats and cuddles because of how sweet my pwecious widdle kitty was.

I often hear this used as an argument but if you have a terrible owner with a Chihuahua the Chihuahua isn't going to rip somebody's arm off

Both are a problem, but negligent owners are usually to blame. People need to stop thinking of pitbulls as cuddly wuddly teddy bears that have no chance to cause harm.
