Its just a catch-all theory for which ammunition to keep loaded in your Shotgun for self-defense purposes.

You can also label clips, etc

Yeah this makes no sense because if you have a buckshot that is next up, and you want a slug, then you're fucked unless you take another second to rack it. And good luck remembering which is next when you're in the middle of a gunfight (or even caring, you're just wanting to throw lead and end it).

If you're in the situation that you need to engage targets up close(buckshot) and at a distance(slug) a semi auto 5.56 or 5.45 carbine is going to be superior to the shotgun. If you've ever seen a wound channel of a fragmenting rifle round, you wouldn't think it is chumpy, even when compared to buckshot or a slug. If you're in a hostage rescue scenario then the carbine reigns supreme over the slug gun for multiple reasons, accuracy, capacity, maneuverability.

Why dont I have an auto-loader?

I dont want to be racking no matter what

I dont want to pull the slide

or have to lock the bolt

or any of that

cock the hammer, etc

lol. I got censored

Ok so you have an autoloader and you have buckshot in the chamber but need to shoot a slug. What do you have to do to get that slug in the chamber?

Also for what it costs to get a reliable semi auto shotgun, you could set up a carbine that would do the job better. I guess if you live in California or some shit it could make sense, but any free state you're better off with 30 rounds of 5.56.

Or if you're inside of 50 yards some good buckshot is going to do the trick. No reason whatsoever to alternate your ammo and give your gun unpredictable recoil and different points of aim.

absolutely yes

however, if the Shotgun is there and stock loads without a clip or whatever, I think its a good idea. Or you can just have slugs and hit your target lol

What you have to do is shoot twice

or eject

Possession of an automatic weapon does not equate to creating an active public hazard by causing a public stampede. You might as well be pretending I think you should be able to shoot innocent people, when that is not what I said.

Okay so what's the limit.

Is my M1A1 covered by 2nd amendment?

What about a GAU-8?

What about a straight up nuke?

I don't want to actually use these things I just want to peacefully own them and look at them.

When it comes to arms rights in the United States all it should come down to is: do you have some kind of conviction that means you deserve to have your rights curtailed; and can you afford it.

You should have legal access to anything fielded by a military. That's how it was intended by our founders.

Compelling arguments. Neither of which change the fact that written into our Constitution is not the guaranteed right to bear arms, but rather an acknowledgement that the right to bear arms is inherent to a free society and a restriction on the government from making legislation to infringe upon it.
