I'm doing a Mediterranean Island Kingdom (maybe empire? i dont think i will have enough kingdom titles)

Basically start as a count in Sardinia or Corsica and take over every island in the Mediterranean. In CK2 when I did this campaign, I was always getting attacked. Those islands are prime real estate. You show a moment weakness, you are losing land. CK3, playing ironman, this is a breeze.

It's 1078, I have sardinia and corsica with kingdom title, have malorca duchy as a vassal, some nephew now, Byzantine empire has all the eastern mediteranean islands, but they are starting to have civil wars and occasionally go to war with the caliphates. In 30-50 years they will be weak enough to attack directly. They have about 20k troops and a rotating group of decent allies, like 10-20k ally troops.

I am making 40 gold per turn, all of Sardinia and Corsica are at least level 20 development, my capital, Cagliari, has 34 development. I directly own all of Sardinia and Corsica and

I have not had war declared on me once. I do have a strong army, about 14k, only have 2 allies right now with 3k army total. So decently strong but not invincible.

Ambitious, cynical, gregarious, astute intellectual, genius dwarf. Regrettably infirm now at 62. He was obese at one point, but stopped that.
