Depends on the context. If someone is beating their kid in public or something then yeah that warrants outside interference. But telling a parent what they should and shouldn't let their kids watch/listen to/play unsolicited, those types can fuck off.

Different kids require different approaches.

My mother ended up treating my brother and I different cause she discovered what worked on me didnt work on him and vice versa. We are not perfect but both us grew up well mannered no criminal records and both have had stable employment that can support a family.

This is pretty accurate. I would never want to make a kid or anyone feel the way I felt growing up.

Unless they are breaking the law parents have the right to raise their kids as THEY see fit, just as they have the right to live their lives as THEY see fit. Those children are of their body, they are their responsibility to feed and provide for, it is a parental right to pass on their values, beliefs, culture, religion etc. Children do not belong to you they don't belong to the community they do not belong to the state. Until they are of age they belong to their family, period.

As only an Uncle do to MANY reasons really but mostly because my wife cant have kids after her breast cancer complications, I absolutely LOVE when parents tell me I dont know what its like. What I know is I love my nieces and nephews and would raise them like my parents raised me and my siblings. I know what good parents are. Whether I have the ability to be as good as them is a different question. I learned how to take care of my wife instead of kids because thats the life I was given. I am not PRIVILEGED enough to have kids. Its a really sad and lonely feeling to have to know youll never be a parent not because of choice, but because of circumstance. Its an HONOR to have kids. I think parents gets too tired to remember that sometimes.

Ive seen this before.

Some fat trashy broad and her 7 kids were in the grocery store and they were absolutely causing chaos. throwing shit on the ground, opening food bags, screaming and running around. The entire time, the mom was staring at her phone, oblivious to their actions.

Someone walked by the scene and told her to take control of her unruly kids or she was going to be asked to leave. She went from still as a stone to finger waving and screaming "aw hell naw, how DARE you tell me how to handle my kids!". Eventually the cops got called and escorted her out, the whole time she was threatening to come back and "do something".

Some people just shouldnt have kids.

Some people get onto other parents for petty reasons. Like letting the kid play video games longer they think they should. This usually comes from other family members though

A large amount of parents aren't secure in their parenting ability. Even if you're the best parent ever, your kid could still wind up as a fuck up loser. Any critique can bring this insecurity to the surface.

Because of that, it's a very low hanging fruit type of insult. If you're looking to piss someone off irl forget the fat loser comments. Go for the throat and insult their parenting ability. They either love their kid so much that the idea of them fucking them up is incredibly hurtful or they are actually a horrible parent and it hurts because it's true.
