The Blizzard team couldn't read the room nor could they read what their players want. Who asked for a mobile Diablo game? NOBODY! Now, if you want to develop it and announce it after you announce Diablo 4 and Diablo 2: Resurrected, fine, but they knew damn well people wanted D4 announcement and not a mobile game as your "big game." lmao

Yeah it was a colossal fuck up.

I seriously think if they had said "Look this ISN'T the Diablo you're thinking of, this is a side project. Real diablo is coming, this is just like, mini diablo you can play on the shitter at work", then things would have gone down much much better.

Instead though they revved up a notoriously childish demographic of people into thinking it was christmas and then bait and switched them. Woops.
