From my understanding, it was a high speed chase in a residential area. There was no business doing a pursuit of that magnitude in a residential area.

And this is why high speed chases are fuckin stupid..."BUT THE BAD GUY MIGHT HURT SOMEONE!"....Most of the time the bad guy isn't even an immediate threat. they just stole a car or are trying to escape a warrant. that shit is not worth risking the lives of everyone else on the road. I wish cops would stop it with this bull shit. You'll get him later. You don't have to risk my life to get him right now.
