She let's him know she's on to him and says "you're playing a little too quickly to not be a hustler, sir"

But after the lighthearted chat she went in for the kill as her opponent says "that is just mean" and sacrificing a pawn she says "I'll give you that as my parting gift" before defeating him in 8 minutes

The 2 shake hands as the audience applauses as someone asked if she's a ranked chess player and says "i'm a master"

It has been viewed more than 3 million times on Youtube as Alexandra was born in Texas but raisd in Canada by her romanian immigrant parents has been playing Chess since she was 6 and was 8 when she competed in her first national champsionship and won first place

She continued her passion when she moved back to Dallas and at 15 won the US Girls National championship for females 18 and under

She graduated Stanford in 2017 and has a BA in international relations and live streams her chess games on Twitch under BotezLive which she runs with her 19 y/o sister, Andrea

Someone who plays chess on the street for money. Theyre usually mediocre players but excel at five minute chess. They trash talk to get in your head and are very very good at exploiting regular people.

The average I play chess person will lose to them every time, which is how they make their money.

However, a trained player should beat them almost every time.

Right, she's being kind of egotistical. Obviously she has an extremely high chance of winning, she's a master, these guys don't play against masters. They play against regular people who walk by, and they're exceptionally good at beating those regular people through mind games, and the fact that most people are not used to playing with such a short clock.

I will say one thing in favor of the girl though, she uploaded a video of her losing to one of these guys so she isn't above being humble. (She beat him in a rematch).

When I was 16 I played this computer over and over to memorize its opening and have literally been using it for the past thirty years.

By the time Ive done it all I have the center completely locked down with all the pieces covering each other. Maybe ten times Ive actually had to go through with the whole game. And those were mostly due to being drunk.
