Not exactly. There's no proven direct connection but considering how involved in looting artifacts ISIS has been it's almost a certainty that they've provided indirect support to ISIS at least.

As for whether people should care about all of this, hobby lobby is one of the worst offenders in establishing precedent for employers being able to dictate what's covered by health insurance. A prime example of what happens when people take this attitude that a large business's stances are "just opinions"

I would like to ask if you could please try to judge us as individuals though whenever possible.

And honestly I'm sure many of the "Christians" that you've met I wouldn't even consider Christian at all. I have argued with many who called themselves religious for their bigoted ways. I see no reason to be anti abortion, anti LGBT, and I'm also a firm believer in separation between church and state and think that churches should be taxed, mega churches are Babylonian in nature, and that religious values have no place in how the country should be ran.

That said, if you never find a religious person that you can respect I get it, most of them suck.

Please feel free to ask any questions about why my believes are so vastly different or anything like that!

I'm not the same guy, but I kind of have the same view. I was raised Christian in a small town, and every Christian I've ever met is one of the following types:

• Sadistic and cruel. These hide behind the Word of God to justify their meanness and abuse.
• People who think they are God. These are mainly backwoods pastors.
• People who pretend to be holy and good but who act just like everyone else when not at church.
• People who get super into the religion and give off weird cult vibes.
• The type who believe in Heaven and Jesus but have never read any of the Bible and couldn't quote a single verse if asked.

Your are yet another type, the type who insists that there are real Christians out there that aren't like the others you've seen. That some folks out there are living the way Jesus wanted and are cool people. I have met precisely zero of these people in real life. I'm sure that there are plenty of good folks out there who are Christian, but the fact that some of the worst people I've ever met are all church leaders and "godly" men started me firmly on the path to atheism.
