Part of me hopes not, but part of me is curious. I think my gaming laptop can handle it, but do I want to traumatize the poor thing like that?

Probably not. The only PC I'm currently running Windows 10 on is about 12 years old. It originally came with Vista. Still works pretty well despite its age, it's a laptop with a dual-core CPU, 8 GB of RAM, a Geforce video card, and two SSDs in RAID 0.

i'm running windows 11 rn, despite it not being "supported"
there's no reason it shouldn't be officially supported, anyways. it meets all of the criteria to be supported. i had to update the tpm to 2.0, from 1.2. which was literally just running a driver update from the manufacturers website. --- but i'm not the villain, despite what you're always preaching call me a traitor, i'm just collecting your victims ... I suppose if I turned on TPM and secure boot. But I have no reason to do that.

My aging laptop can barely handle 10. Then again, who even can run Windows 10? Not Microsoft; that's for sure.
