Alright Im done with the trolling. In all serious I could careless and would prefer for people to use whatever restroom theyd feel more comfortable with. I however understand the trauma women go through when it comes to sexual harassment. Im not insinuating that transwomen are harassing people in bathrooms, but a penis can definitely make someone uncomfortable. a rest room is different as everybody has to use a closed cubicle and there are no urinals in female rest rooms. Im all for genderless rest rooms as public nudity should not be involved.

Its actually "getting mad at a naked penis being there", and nobody said anybody was staring. It is discomforting for women to simply be around a naked stranger with a penis around them.

I think the real issue here is on such an occasion, the rights of transwomen infringe upon the rights of women. If you side with women, you are transphobic and if you side with transwomen you are misogynistic.

"pretending to be bothered by having seen a dick" and "seeing a dick in a nude space is such a nothing" is such a disrespectful misogynistic statement that undermines women's rights.

At this point, the state might as well just have open rooms for all people, regardless of gender, sex or whatever identity. I really dont see whats the point of still separating the rooms when theres no consistent way of deciding who belongs where, that will satisfy everyone anyway.

There is no way you can defend the Trans woman who uncovered their penis at the spa. She was definitely in the wrong for doing that.

if it wasn't a trans and just a regular dude, would you say the same thing?

I understand wanting to advocate for a post-gender society (even though I think itll never happen), but how does anyone lack the self awareness to understand why this is an issue to the majority of people? You should be able to comprehend why it is a problem even if you fundamentally disagree with it.

There's no issue if they want to allow trans people to use their facility like that. The only issue is not making that position clear to the customers from the outset. Same way if a place wants to introduced completely mixed bathing, assuming there are no laws against it. I assume any such place would see a reduction in clientele, but they should be free to have those policies.

Why would a women be uncomfortable with somebody with a penis inside a changing room?
