Cute and gremlin-y shark. Excellent singer. Ninomae Ina'nis (or just "Ina") - Half human, half tentacled horror. Comfy artist vibes. Surprisingly competent at difficult action games. Very prone to dad jokes and puns. Amelia Watson - Snarky detective. Gives a lot of abrasive toxic gamer vibes. Takanashi Kiara - Extroverted phoenix lady. Fluent in both Japanese and English (and German) and serves as a connecting point and introduction to the west for many members of Hololive JP. Calliope Mori - Reaper lady. HoloEN are all pretty great, though -of- HoloEN Gura, Ina, and Ame are probably the easiest to follow in terms of traditional streamer content (e.g. games and such). Gura's basically the queen of comedic timing and improv humor, though in terms of actual games she's mostly a rhythm gamer with other types of games being...valiant efforts of varying degrees (despite her character theme, Maneater was a bad time) Ina is perhaps the coziest streamer I have ever encountered (one comment somebody made that's stuck with me is "I need Ina's art streams to sleep"), she does art stuff at a professional level and has been going ham on Platinum titles for the last couple of months. Ame is a salty gremlin FPS player who makes noises that I don't think human beings are supposed to make normally. She's been dialing back the salt somewhat but still breaks controllers occasionally. Also quite inventive with other content and weird stream innovation. I like Mori but she's more musically and comfy hangout-inclined than gaming. Certainly tries, though! And an amazing DM for the TTRPG stuff that's ongoing. There's a reason the community jokingly refers to her as 'Dad'. Kiara is a bit of an acquired taste. Respect the big effort put in but the initial impression can be pretty hit or miss depending on the content. Look through some clips of various people who you like, maybe some of the JP ones if you're okay with not understanding them (unless you speak Japanese, in which case...!) Lots outside of hololive as well on youtube/twitch.
