A first amendment violation?

Seems like it'd have a decent chance being ruled that way. The courts are consistent with the idea that the intent of police actions when it comes to stopping communication are what matters, and it's confirmed that officer was playing Taylor swift to stop people from posting recordings, so there doesn't seem much room for questioning.

It just shows how fucked youtube is.

I wouldn't expect it to go anywhere if the officer wasn't on video admitting his intent, but him doing that is basically legal gold.

I used to like the guy but I dont really get along with pompous jerks, especially ones who feel morally superior to a entire society because he upholds certain twisted up values that absolutely no one reasonable would ever care to hold or stand by and considers that personincapable of thought as a result

Just figured I'd offer that up there, since RedJackson has a personal dislike for me and has been spreading misrepresentations about me for all the time I've been back (left for 2 months or so) and likely prior to my returning. I don't know why, seeing as I neither interact with him nor do I say anything about him. I will say that he's spectacularly misinformed about my speaking from a place of privilege. I guess that's why I'm finally acknowledging his grudge.

I do get banned frequently, usually for non-offenses, which some on the mod team have acknowledged. Usually for calling out the site attitude toward certain types of bigotry.

But yeah feel free to believe him and others. Just got a little tired of the constant libel, which is typically unlike me.
