Based on the video game, it features a lot of comically unrealistic martial arts, vaguely resembling the gameplay mechanics. The story mainly covers the Alliance against Dong Zhuo and the Battle of Hu Lao Gate. Possibly sequels will follow, but i dont know. Objectively, the movie wasn't that good unless you were a big fan of the video game. As such, I enjoyed it. --- Don't mind me. So far some of the action sequences do seem reminiscent of the games, but that stuff is easy to fudge. The rest was uhhhhh they spent too much of the movie talking, but it was cool to see them name drop so many people. Sun Jian got done kinda dirty though. I suppose sequels will do a better job there.
