I've been saying stuff along the lines of "if you still celebrate canada day, you're a cop" for a few years now. it's really strange to see so many people actually agreeing with the sentiment, and I'm extremely surprised that I haven't seen more pushback

Let natives move to better land. When I drove north through BC and Yukon 4 years ago I saw some reservations. They looked pretty miserable. I mostly only am familiar with a reservation in WA state called the Tulalip Tribe and this was the exact opposite of the Tulalip Reservation.

America has a problem with this too. I'd be in favor of security land for Native Americans / First Nations to have an independent country in North America.

The problem is every tribe is its own culture, and they don't all like the same traditional land. They all have original land their ancestors lived on. And some want to live in the desert, some on coast, some in the plains..... you will never satisfy every native American with one single homeland for them. We should have just never come here we should still be living in the old world countries we came from

Anyone who wished to remain where they were could presumably do so. The last thing anyone would want is to forcibly relocate Native Americans again.
