Yes and will for the foreseeable.

Vaccinated doesn't stop you catching or spreading Covid.

Yep! Been fully vaccinated for a few months. I'm not dropping the mask. I know my fat ass wouldn't survive Covid. I'd be one of the few that die. I hate being on the wrong end of the statistics. It happens often enough for me as it is.

Yeah I still wear one out in public. I'm kinda used to it now and I like being able to curse at people under the mask. Also blah blah blah, variant strains and breakthrough cases and whatever.

Do vaccinated people believe the vaccines stop them getting it and spreading it?
Haven't the vaccine manufacturers told everyone that it doesn't stop you getting or transmitting it? Just lowers the chance of the most severe symptoms and death?

Do you know more about science and COVID than the CDC? By all means should no one be shamed for continuing to wear masks if they need to, but you cant also shame vaccinated unmasked individuals also.

I only wear masks where necessary now (Uber/Lyft and where I am doing shadowing at a PT clinic on Saturdays)

I posted my understanding of the advice given by the NHS in the UK, as that's where I am.

So when I said:

"Haven't the vaccine manufacturers told everyone that it doesn't stop you getting or transmitting it? Just lowers the chance of the most severe symptoms and death?"

What I was referring to was the NHS section:

reduce your risk of getting seriously ill or dying from COVID-19

reduce your risk of catching or spreading COVID-19

protect against COVID-19 variants

There is a chance you might still get or spread COVID-19 even if you have a vaccine

I hope that clears up my intention, I never claimed to know more that the CDC.

Yes because I won't get my second shot until July 6th. So in a few more days. I'll still be wearing one though because of the delta variant. Maybe in a month from now?

G my second shot in early May and wore one through the rest of the month and into June, then went without one for about a week, then started hearing about Delta and decided to wear one again.
