Apparently using it gets you softbanned where you only play with other people with modified versions of the game. But if everyone uses it then it doesn't matter right?

You know, I literally remember almost nothing about this game except that I kinda liked it, despite playing through the whole thing. The only bosses I remember are the very first hollow giant guy, Nashandra, and that Pursuer thing.

I legit didn't know that there was a ds2fix. Only ptde is well known to be a bad pc port. I do recall also hearing that modding the game can get you softbanned, but it might also depend on what the mod does.
