TL;DR Sons of the original creators of D&D make a new TSR company, says Tabletop is for everyone, the entire scene goes into uproar and attack them, and now they're discussing if writing violence, racism, sexism, and even serious stories are good for Tabletop or if they should even be allowed.

The issues I've seen on twitter have been about how in the past it was a toxic and bigoted boys clubs, and even now it still has issues of sexism etc. etc. Certainly you can find good and inclusive groups, but in the past they were just as bad as the rest of society.
