it was an intimidating name that implied they destroyed stars
it wasn't until years later it occurred to me that they meant "destroyer" as in ship classification i.e. cruiser, frigate, dreadnought and so forth ....yeah --- This is my signature until I can think of a better one. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've always loved their simplistic but intimidating design. Still one of my favorite star ships from any sci-fi media.
