apparently it's a common con
someone watches what you put in your locker and then when you're working out, they go to the gym attendant and tell them they forgot their locker combination and to open it up for them. since they watched you, they can describe what is in the locker to the attendant which is usually the only proof of ownership they ask for sucks to just lose a 20k value like that (even if insured) --- ...
