Honestly to the point where a number of GOPers equate to the star that Jewish people had to wear in Germany. Is it the fact that you are helping someone else , and evil Ayn Rand that exist in something of their brains that get upset with the idea of helping anyone else out. What is it.

And yes there are Left wing ain't maskers , but nothing like we see on the right .

I'd attribute it to the need to double down when Trump did.

They have the mentality of a child who doesn't want to eat their vegetables at dinner. Anything the left is for, they're against. Spite, anger, and hate is all they have.

Why the fuck we still talking about masks

CDC says if youre vaccinated you dont have to wear a mask anymore. Ive said it before and Ill say it again: follow the fucking science

I consider myself more of a libertarian than republican but I guess I can chime in. Where I live, there was never really a mask mandate, I mean technically there was a state one, but most people never followed it. Business would put signs on their doors but the staff would usually never wear one or enforce the policy. Ive never had to wear one to work, but I work in an open air environment with 2 other people. Its not really because we dont care about other people though. I live in a great area where there is a lot philanthropic practices. But most people around here are very cautious when it comes to trusting the government. You can say follow the science all you want, but youre delusional if you think this isnt just a big political/financial game (on both sides,) especially at this point. Im not a conspiracy theorist, I just typically dont trust the government or the scientists they employ.

btw, Ive only met a couple people who have had COVID and have never known anyone who died from it. Not saying its all made up or anything, just saying its never really been that bad where I am.

Unlikely to sink in with you but science isn't static. It's a process of constant confirmation and falsification. Positions are revised accordingly.

WHO recommends fully vaxxed people continue wearing masks to protect against the Delta variant which is currently exploding among the unvaxxed.

Once Drumpf politicized masks, reasonable discussion of masks went out the window.

The amusing thing is right wingers who denied the science all along are now trying to use science as a fig leaf for their original position of "muh feelz and muh liburteez".

Yea it is kinda weird how people choose to believe the science whether or not it is aligns with their beliefs. Imagine this happened with any other illness or science related thing. Like if wearing a condom to protect against HIV or boiling water during a cholera outbreak was called fake news. With people saying dont listen to the science. But somehow for COVID that became acceptable to do.

Did you really have to bring up an article from 17 years ago for your point. Some people on CE were probably not even born when that article was made lol. Has anything like it happened in America more recently? Since this topic seems focused a bit more on the Dem vs GOP debate in US.

We not like the Philippines which in 2021 is saying you dont get vaccinated you go to jail which wouldnt be allowed over here.
