Agreed to person who suggested swimming One of the big benefits of swimming is low impact on joints; there is no pounding on your feet, knees or hips or any other joint really.

I too have to get back into shape. Sadly, I cracked my tibia a little over a month ago, so generic walking is a bit problematic for me right now, and the pools are shut down for now. Physio is in 2 days, so we'll see how that works out for me.
