To fix some countries, youd need to replace their entire government and thats kinda seen as a big no-no for obvious reasons.

We help back a coup in central or south america pretty much every few years, we just tend to keep involvement hush hush. :l Like, a lot of the issues people are fleeing are the result of American intervention.

We do engage in coups. Have pretty much every few years for like... The past 100 years

To truly affect change though you would have to topple and clear house of governments in many countries and then supply an insane amount of aid.

Imagine what America tried to do in Afghanistan but on the scale of multiple countries.

It might work a little better due to proximity but it'd still take years upon years if not decades of work

Honestly, many Americans (Republicans) don't like brown people, even if the migrated here legally even if brown people were here in America first before them, they come up with a reason that they're higher up than them. They don't like brown people in America why would they even care about brown folks in another country?
