I used to wake up every day and Google "Is the Noid back?" and for years I would be met with a "no" and have to spend the rest of my day in a hollow, Noidless agony. I was a shell of a person. All of my relationships gradually fell apart as. Why should I care about anything in a world without the Noid? Then one morning I woke up, pulled out my phone and started on my ritual of pain only to discover the Noid was back. Life had meaning again. I had the purpose I had been looking for.
