Sweet Home isn't particularly in your face fucked up, being an NES game, but it's a really cool bit of video game history and it definitely has some very creepy vibes and it's just a unique title overall dripping with horror imagery. Definitely recommend trying it. I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream is really fantastic. The premise is beautifully demented, and most of the gameplay is literally psychological torture for the characters. It's old, but it's one I still think about randomly from time to time. If you can't play it, watch it on youtube at least. Corpse Party is another great one. It just escalates the misery and hopelessness again and again and just loves describing horrible shit in excessive detail.
