It's definitely AJ and the game only exists because they wanted Phoenix as a defendant.

Like, I don't think the case is particularly great, but I don't really think it deserves as much ire as it gets. Case 2 is easily the worst in Apollo Justice. Then again, I also think Turnabout Big Top is an A tier case, so I'm probably wrong about everything.

I get that the logic in the game is often far-fetched, but the investigation reiterated multiple times that the gun is so powerful that if an inexperienced user were to fire it they'd cause severe damage to their body such as dislocated shoulders. Despite that, a meek 10 year old blind kid is the suspect. And the game doesn't even let you bring up this point. Can't take this shit seriously. The multiple blind twists were absolutely ridiculous as well.

Also doesn't help that Apollo is a clueless moron and the prosecutor has to literally walk him through every big revelation. I'm going to skip this case after the first court day. Cannot deal with this or the awful forced touch controls. Going to try out the last case. Hopefully it's redeeming.

AA2's was pretty fucking stupid due to the length, but I despise this one more due to the dumb perceive gimmick. And the guilty party in AA2 was somewhat compelling unlike this one (I read what happens. Can't finish it).

Turnabout Big Top had great characters (even Moe, stfu) and one of the coolest settings. So what if it meanders a bit, overplays its chippy circus tune to the point of annoyance and has one really bad logic jump towards the end. You can have so much worse.

moe and the ventriloquist are absolute dogshit. I agree the other characters were great, but it's unfortunate that they didn't have as much dialogue as the former 2 turds.

The ventriloquist is terrible, but that's a minor annoyance. Lotta Hart doesn't make the cases she's in garbage.

This game also ruined the word incidentally for me with its overuse. I swear its used every 3 or 4 lines. Whereas I think it was only used a couple times throughout the whole trilogy

Getting strong mgs2 feels with the last case. Game overall is starting to feel like a parody of wanting to be the man Phoenix much like Snake in mgs2 but youre instead relegated to a loser who just passively falls into situations with only a loose connection to the overall plot

Apollo Justice is a fairly lame character in general. AA5 and AA6 tend to be much more interesting in the Phoenix / Athena cases.

Apollo is great in Dual Destinies. In his own game hes kind of bad and honestly everything involving him in Spirit of Justice is just drivel. God I hate that game.
