He aged three years and got more acclimated to MLB. Guy was 23/24 his first year in the majors. Most Japanese players that come over are veterans and that process isnt as hard. They also normally only have to focus on one side too. Expecting him to be Trout and deGrom on day 1 was dumb for anyone to believe in tbh. Im just bitter my team did a bunch to get international money and he said no.
