We have a 22 month old, everyone keeps asking for his mask cuz he's tall and I have to keep saying he's under 2.

I just don't see how 2 year olds will wear it.

Rule should be 3 yo for mask requirements tbh

I dont have kids, but I did hear that over the loudspeaker when I flew for the first time recently.

I thought 2 seemed a little young as well.

My kid did ok with it, but he got used to them thanks to daycare.

That said, I was on a flight where a 4 year old wasnt really wearing one and the crew didnt ask him to or bother him.

So depends on the kid and the crew I guess.

Yup. He's like 95 percentile height. We even bought him a separate ticket cuz he's too big for our laps and that makes us seem even more douchy.

It is insane. The rule for 3-5 should be to make an attempt to get them to wear a mask. 2 and under exempt. This 2-year mask requirement on U.S. airlines basically has prohibited a bunch of families from being able to fly. Kinda seems like no one put any thought into it.

To face this at such a young age. I hope everything goes well, but tell them CE will get them if they harass your toddler.

Maybe contact customer service before flying?
