Not sure why everyone was complaining. Now, the Fusion Suit in Prime was overall pretty lame, I must admit. Fusion was like a fast-track to playing Zero. Great game, but not my favorites. I love the themes and the unsettling aesthetic, but I hated how linear it felt.

In every way. Ehhhhh Fusion is great, but too much of its progression relies on "find the hidden door" tricks. In Super, uncovering secret rooms felt cool. I don't remember liking it much, way too linear at times and it's the only Metroid where I've gotten stuck on a boss because it was a pain to fight and I wasn't allowed to backtrack at that point to get more energy/missile upgrades to see if it would help..
Ultimately I ended up starting over, but then never finished it (again, a first for Metroid). --- IDD ... Copied to Clipboard!
