Who the hell let that happen? None of them should be in the same group, WTF. This is the equivalent of putting USA, Spain, and Argentina in the same group for basketball.

No wonder Americans won't take soccer seriously.

They just randomly draw the teams, that's what makes it fair would you rather they cheat and set the teams up themselves to try and make more money or something?

I don't know how draws are done for the Euro, but in basketball tournaments, the top teams by world rankings are automatically separated in different groups to ensure groups such as the one I mentioned in my post never happens. Then they do the random drawing of teams into those groups.

You would think Euro is smart enough to adopt that system.

UEFA does use seeding, it's just based on Nations League performance now which Germany did not play well in.

Also groups like that used to be common in the old format where they didn't let a bunch of crap teams qualify.

This happened in the world cup last time which resulted in a few european teams missing the world cup. like teams that always make the world cup.
