Slight hyperbole in the title, but not by much tbh. In the UK, our beloved government is marching with gusto down the path of crushing democracy. Their latest attempt to reign in democracy and the ability to question them is to strip the independent body of its ability to charge the government when it breaks the law.

I truly do love our government. Thankfully they will soon make it illegal to protest as well, so efforts to voice our complaints can thankfully be crushed under the boots of the police when we get too uppity and make it bit of a disturbance to hard working corrupt politicians.

Getting very close to it! Add in all the voting restriction they want in place, they just need to step them up and close a few down in the "interest of saving money" and "accidently" forget to fund the places to give the free ID, or restrict access to it and we'll be well underway to the "ideal" land of a Tory despot.
