Mead 06/18/21 1:23:10 PM #6:	My niece is 7 now and has always been nonverbal but shes in a really good school and is making great progress. She can read now and can even talk when she focuses. It makes me so happy because I didnt know if she would simply remain totally nonverbal. I feel like being able to communicate even a little and the ability to read opens up so much life for her to experience. --- my resting temp can easily be in the 90's -Krazy_Kirby <cite>Mead posted [p:955170291] in Happy Auti... I'm not trying to be offensive so sorry if this comes off that way you arent being offensive its ok to ask questions a lot is still unknown about autism and there really is a broad spectrum of what it means to be autistic, but really it comes down to their brain working differently then what we typically consider normal perception so some things that most humans pick up naturally like speaking, socializing, subtly and nuance, etc can seem very alien, stressful, and too overwhelming --- my resting temp can easily be in the 90's -Krazy_Kirby <cite>Mead posted [p:955173976] in Happy Auti...
