Shelby Houlihan, the middle-distance runner who currently holds two U.S. records, says she's been banned from the Tokyo Olympics after testing positive for the steroid nandrolone. Houlihan says she's clean and is blaming the test result on a pork burrito she got from a food truck.

I think there's just enough uncertainty that she will probably have a case, and the hair sample showing no buildup seems a pretty good indication that she was not someone who was regularly using steroids. I don't know about the food truck thing though lol

Even sketchier vendors in the US source their meat domestically, and thus the tainted burrito theory is debunked, since it's illegal to put that stuff in meat, especially pork.

Pretty sure Nandrolone aka Deca-Durabolin is one of the most popular steroids out there, no way no one at her track club had ever heard of it lol

Sadly the testing is still like a decade behind in catching PEDs, pretty much every superstar athlete uses something and as long as you are smart about it you can beat the tests easy. I'm guessing someone on her team screwed up big and gave her the wrong compounds that day
