Wow, I only played Ultra Sun and that doesn't happen in that version of the game and I always wondered why. Now I know. They probably scrapped that because that is dumb as hell. She still cryogenically freezes pokemon and the story doesn't show you saving them, etc., so she is still a loon, even after her main story arc finishes. Not to mention she pretends to not know her amnesiactic husband Mon in the end after they come across one another and just lets him walk out of her life none the wiser. Lusamine is crazy.

Chobin doesn't want to kill you to be fair. As for "Why the Robo Groudon?... just look at the doctor he's an assistant to.

But yeah, Gamefreak wasted a lot of potential with Lusamine. Would have made for a terrifying final boss... but she still has 5 Pokemon, they're only a few levels higher than last time, and just starts screaming at you when she loses.

Meanwhile Lance gets to Hyper Beam a Rocket grunt and apparently such brutality is okay if they're a criminal.

Though at least the Colosseum games can have Shadow Pokemon attempt to attack a trainer if they go crazy. It doesn't do anything in game outside lose their turn but...

Yeah, for all the improvements USUM made, I hate how it nuked the story and Lusamine's character and motivation, in facor of haphazardly throwing in Necrozma at the climax. I blame the anime for that, which turned her into a much nicer character.
