Board 8 > Microsoft won E3 this year

Admittedly it's a super low bar this year but Microsoft actually managed to make me want a Series whatever despite never caring for Xbox

They finally bought enough studios to start showing off some really cool looking exclusives that I can't overlook

Also I'm saying that as a total PlayStation fanboy. You let me down Sony! Don't say you're skipping E3 to do your own thing and then give no indication of what or when that'll be!

Sony's State of Play last year was July.

Outer Worlds 2 was the most exciting thing for Microsoft for me, but I assume that's 2023 or 2024, so my hype isn't ultra high.

What were the big MS games for you?

Nintendo > MS imo but they're the top two for sure.

Outer Worlds was one of them. Also Somerville, Redfall and Plague Tale 2 look really good.

Last year already had my interest for Hellblade 2, and it's becoming a lot harder to not get my first Xbox

But if Sony gives me PlayStation Allstars 2 maybe I'll take it all back

Microsoft had more stuff I was personally interested in so I guess them ignoring SGF. Pretty sub par E3 overall but considering the circumstances it was fine. I got my Elden Ring and Space Skyrim along with some other good announcements so I'll take it.

Nintendo had it's moments but overall I wasn't impressed. Kazuya I'm super hyped for, and Super Monkey Ball and Mario Party remakes look good (though I'm hesitant to be excited for MP given that they didn't bother supporting Super Mario Party at all). Beyond that there wasn't much appealing

Plague Tale 2 is coming to PS5 and Somerville is a timed exclusive, in case you didn't catch that part. Redfall could be interesting though. Arkane's developing both Deathloop and Redfall right now - I wonder which of the two will be better?

I agree, I really want to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Plague Tale, and Somerville. It's still not enough for me to not get a PS5 first but I went from having no interest in a Series X to wanting one down the line eventually.

And at least there's still going to be XBONE stuff too, Atomic Heart and 12 Minutes both look amazing, and I've been hyped for them for awhile anyway.

Also Sony hasnt been there since 2018 and hasnt mattered since 2017! As they only showed a few games at their last one.

As an owner of a Switch and disappointed owner of a 360, Microsoft may have won E3 for me too. Nintendo sure had some unexpected surprises, but they're not things I was really interested in. The most interesting new reveal for me was the Kakarot port, lol (though SMTV trailer was the best part).

Microsoft's growing monopoly on WRPGs will probably get me to buy a Series at some point.
