Shawn Bradley, 7'6" former Space Jammer, on 1/20/21 he was riding his bike in St. George, UT, was hit by a vehicle from behind and is now paralyzed.

Mark Eaton, 7'4" and all time block leader for a season, on 5/28/21, died while on a bike ride.

Anyone hear what Greg Ostertag has been up to? Hopefully not cycling.

for real, the biking culture in america sucks, they act like they should be treated as cars, yet they blow through stop signs, swerve all over the place, and clog up one-lane traffic to no end

This, if there are no bike lanes you can't win. Have to choose which group of people, drivers or pedestrians, to piss off.

You'd think cycling would be pretty safe in Utah given all the Mormons there.

that was actually my thought making the topic. And St. George isnt huge, under 100k people, good wide roads, and actually has something of a bike trail system. A combo of bike lanes and bike paths.

Bicycles are the primary mode of transportation that Mormon missionaries use.

Most Mormon men ( and recently , many women) go on a mission trip. They go with an acountabilibuddy and ride bikes on their mission.
