Chrissy Teigen is back online.

Following the fallout from the controversy surrounding her past interactions with Courtney Stodden on social media, the 35-year-old Cravings entrepreneur spoke out in a Medium blog called Hi again on Monday (June 14).

I know Ive been quiet, and lord knows you dont want to hear about me, but I want you to know Ive been sitting in a hole of deserved global punishment, the ultimate sit here and think about what youve done. Not a day, not a single moment has passed where I havent felt the crushing weight of regret for the things Ive said in the past, she wrote.

As you know, a bunch of my old awful (awful, awful) tweets resurfaced. Im truly ashamed of them. As I look at them and understand the hurt they caused, I have to stop and wonder: How could I have done that?

Ive apologized publicly to one person, but there are others and more than just a few who I need to say Im sorry to. Im in the process of privately reaching out to the people I insulted. Its like my own version of that show My Name is Earl! I understand that they may not want to speak to me. I dont think Id like to speak to me. (The real truth in all of this is how much I actually cannot take confrontation.) But if they do, I am here and I will listen to what they have to say, while apologizing through sobs, she continued.

She went on to discuss when she started using social media, and having fun with it.

I made jokes, random observations. Think of all the engineers, working day and night to develop this amazing new platform and technology, connecting people all over the world to learn, create, and find kindred spirits. And I used it to snark at some celebrities, she explained.

In reality, I was insecure, immature and in a world where I thought I needed to impress strangers to be accepted. If there was a pop culture pile-on, I took to Twitter to try to gain attention and show off what I at the time believed was a crude, clever, harmless quip. I thought it made me cool and relatable if I poked fun at celebrities.

She also discussed her family.

John tells me almost every day how much our daughter Luna reminds him of me. Every day, I try to make sure shes all the best parts of me, all the things I aspire to be all the time, but fail at sometimes. And we preach kindness to her and Milesevery chance we get. Will they eventually realize there is some hypocrisy there? I certainly do. But I hope they recognize my evolution.

I wont ask for your forgiveness, only your patience and tolerance. I ask that you allow me, as I promise to allow you, to own past mistakes and be given the opportunity to seek self improvement and change, she concluded.

Looking back at that whole Courtney Stodden situation, Chrissy Tiegan definitely wasnt the only famous person who was out of pocket. I can't believe more of them aren't being taken to task for how they treated her. She was a teenager in an abusive relationship with a grown-ass man ffs

"For the past 7 years, I've lived with a deep, unhealed trauma," he wrote on Instagram. "I wanted to kill myself and I still am traumatized, depressed and have thoughts of suicide."

Costello, 38, opened up about his pain in a lengthy statement on Instagram on Monday, June 14, the same day that Teigen, 35, wrote an open letter to address a separate bullying claim she encountered in recent weeks. As she said, "Not a day, not a single moment has passed where I haven't felt the crushing weight of regret for the things I've said in the past."

Costello explained in his post that, in 2014, he received a public comment from Teigen on Instagram, accusing him of "being a racist," as he put it.

"She apparently formed her own opinion of me based on a photoshopped comment floating around the internet," he alleged. "When I reached out to Chrissy Teigen to communicate that I was the victim of a vindictive cyber slander, and that everything she thought I was is not who I am, she told me that my career was over and that all my doors will be shut from there on."
