I think that's one of the positive tweets. He's a great director. I think a bunch of the criticism is mostly about Kathleen Kennedy, which is stupid.

They need to just recast for a new young Indy. The character is legendary and he is more than just his original actor. I dont want a repeat of Crystal Skull. I want to go back to the 30s and 40s

If we went back to the 1930s, we'd have to do heavy doses of social commentary.

Also, Indiana Jones would be the bad guy for robbing people's tombs. As a continuation of the 1980s story, he grandfathers his way into still being the good guy.

I like Mangold, but I very much do not want to see anymore Indiana Jones. Especially when Lucas & Spielberg aren't involved.

I think I'd much rather have Mangold than either Spielberg or Lucas working on this at this point.

That last movie was the worst of both. Spielberg's obsession with aliens and Lucas's love of CGI.

I'd much rather the soulless corporate assholes just let the franchise die instead of requiring yet another terrible idea that's bound to fail. Harrison Ford is 80 fucking years old, this is ridiculous.

I want to see this happen and I want it to be primarily about Indiana Jones's daughter. It would be a nice change of pace and, to be frank, I want Harrison Ford to remain Indy instead of seeing the gender flipped remake that Spielberg suggested a few years back.

They should get that dude that played young Han to play Young Indy.
