Disturbing. Rape should have a bare minimum 5 years in prison. Absolute bare minimum that anyone convicted of sexual assault gets 5 years. And this guy got 180 days.

Hon said the girls parents asked to testify during the trial but the judge wouldnt allow it.

Binnion had previously pled guilty to both charges.

On the charge of Sexual Assault of a Child, a second degree felony, for which the range of punishment is 2 to 20 years, Judge Kitchens made no finding of guilt and placed Binnion on deferred adjudication probation for 10 years with multiple conditions including serving an additional 180 days in the Polk County Jail and registering as a sex offender. The State, through Assistant District Attorney Rachel Ellsworth, stated their opposition to the decision of the court to place the Defendant on deferred adjudication probation

He was in fact sentenced for breaking the jaw of another prisoner while awaiting trial.

As to the charge of Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury, a second degree felony for which the range of punishment is 2 to 20 years, Kitchens assessed punishment at 3 years confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Having previously served 991 days in the Polk County Jail pending disposition of the case, Binnion will complete this sentence in approximately 104 days.

He plead guilty to the charge of sexual assualt of a child and the judge found guilt wasn't determined and gave him probation.
Wrap your mind round that one.
He was sent back to jail for assaulting a prisoner not raping a child.

We don't have a legal definition for "unhinged" guy and people can't be sentenced indefinitely for it.

Person is sentenced to death and immediately executed for raping child.
